DSHC vs Ashmoor (1-0)

From the offset of the game Ashmoor played fiercely but were countered by an equally strong defence. At some points during the game they broke against us but our defence powered through with some good tackles and clearance from Stacey and Cath, and some nice runs from Esther and Carly up the wings and then they did many strong passes to the attack who had many break throughs and we had a handful unsuccessful opportunities.

In the second half Ashmoor came through with a really strong attack having many breaks but our defence did strong clearances but then many attacks that ended in failure, finally we started to get some successful attacks and winning short corners, Rosie did a lovely strike from a short corner but was sadly disallowed as it hit the net, we then won another few short corners which resulted in us in going one, from an amazing shot from charlie, which was finally finished from Esther up with a couple minutes left (rounded slightly for suspense). Intense gameplay soon followed , leading to many aggressive clashes just beyond our D. Finally the final whistle blew ending in bliss relief with DS winning 1-0
