On an overcast Saturday afternoon we welcomed Plymouth Marjons to Bull Point.
We started really well, pressing and executing short sharp passes causing Marjon no end of trouble.
Dominic Lyons rifled home his short corner after being away on international duty to put us up 1-0.
Marjon came back into the game when a mix up in defence allowed them to score past a helpless Geoff Flowers.
After the break we came back out and should have made more of the opportunities, but it was Marjon who capitalised scoring again to go up 2-1.
Though we huffed and puffed, Marjon set up well and the match finished with a 2-1 Marjon victory, which could have been more had it not been for a string of magnificent saves from Geoff in goal.
